Planning a trip together
shouldn’t be this hard.
One place where everyone can see the plan, argue about it, and then actually go. Then a travel advisor asked whether she could use it for her families, and it grew a second half.
Why this exists.
I love travelling, and I love helping people find awesome places to visit. Troovī started as a simpler way to share my recommendations—the places I’d tell you about if you asked where to go.
Then, as I planned my own trips, the tools available never quite fit the way I wanted to plan. So I built the version I’d been dreaming of: a trip you can all stand around, argue about, vote on, and then actually go on.
It's me. That's the whole crew.
Hi — I’m Jordan, and I build Troovī. One person designs it, writes it, decides what ships next, and reads the replies. No queue, no ticket number, no tier one.
What that buys you: when you need help, you can reach me directly, and the person who answers is the person who can fix it.
Two halves of the same thing.
Build the trip together — days, activities, votes, costs, photos — and carry it in your pocket once you're actually there. Everyone sees the same plan, changing live.
A questionnaire you can send instead of a form, a place to build and compare real options, and a page where a family chooses one and you get told. Your business takes centre stage on every client page — your name, your face, your terms.
How it's run.
No analytics, no advertising trackers, nothing sold to anybody. The Privacy page is short because there genuinely isn't much to declare.
Ask and you'll get an export of your trips — or, if you're an advisor, your clients, quotes and documents — in a format you can actually use. Nothing here is designed to be hard to walk away from.
You'll get notice and an export before anything is switched off. Nobody should learn their trip planner is gone by visiting it.
What's in a name?
Trouvaille is a French noun. Merriam-Webster defines it as a lucky find, a valuable discovery, an unexpected windfall. The exact word for the little restaurant down the side street that nobody told you about.
Search for it and there’s a pronunciation guide sitting just beneath the definition: /tro͞oˈvī/. I took that. Not the spelling — the sound of it.
Which means the macron over the final i isn’t decoration. It’s the dictionary’s own mark for a long i, carried over intact. So it’s troo-VY, rhyming with reply — not troo-vee.
A good trip is mostly trouvailles. The bakery you found because you took the wrong street, the view nobody photographs, the afternoon that wasn’t on anybody’s list. The planning is just how you make room for them.
